Luke Strandlund

I raced dirt-track cars for seven years before I started flying in 2014 — and I’ve been hooked ever since. I began in a Seneca II and have flown a PA-31P, Murphy Moose, Zlin Savage and now a Super Rebel, which I began competing with in National STOL in 2023. I own a structural steel and metal fabrication company in Minnesota and enjoy the experimental aircraft community for the freedom to modify and improve my airplanes. Last season I spent about 10 months and 1,000 hours upgrading my Super Rebel with new shocks, gear, avionics and engine, and I have more modifications planned in the future.
